My new weekly radio show, The Backyard Sportsman, will start Aug. 13, 2010, on VoiceAmerica Sports Radio. It will air at 10:00 AM Eastern and 7:00 PM Pacific and be re-broadcast 12 hours later. Following that it will be available on my show page (accessible from The Backyard Sportsman Blog at the bottom of the home page.

American Hunter magazine chose a photo of my 2010 North Carolina swan hunt as among the "Best of the Best" from their on-line bragging board. This was a solo, freelance hunt with an original 1842 British musket using non-toxic shot. A video about the hunt is at http//www.hoveysmith.wordpress.com as well as on YouTube and Facebook.
